DF n°34, Interview with JEAN-LOUIS COSTES, November 27th, 2006

Here is a very special and funny moment. On Monday 27th, 2006, the French performer and musician Jean-Louis Costes played in a big venue named Le Ramier, in Toulouse, very close to our radio studios. After the show, I invited Jean-Louis to join us at the radio station. It was around 3 or 4 in the morning when we did this interview. He even sang some excerpts from his show Les petits oiseaux chient live in the studio, in the company of Lisou Prout. Many friends were there too, and everything was improvised. It was chaotic and very intimate at the same time. Jean-Louis talked about his dreams, his fears, and the conversation went quite far. Then we went to sleep at my apartment, where Jean-Louis and Lisou were staying, and I think that the sun was already there when we fell asleep.

DF n°33, Interview with NEPTUNE, November 13th, 2006

On November 12, 2006, we met the American band Neptune for the first time as they were playing live in Toulouse in a wonderful venue named Le Clandé, a former brothel from the early XXth century. In fact, I discovered the band on that same day. Since then, we have met them several times, and we saw them play more than a dozen times. They are an amazing band on stage.

At the beginning of the show, we played songs by Borghesia, Laibach, Macrocoma, Ambiance Anonyme, Nightmare Lodge and MKB. And we played several songs from Patterns, which was their latest album at the time.
